Tracy Shearin Bio
Tracy Shearin is a life time Nash County resident and has lived full time in Red Oak since 1988. Tracy came on board with the Town in January of 2017 after serving 32 years with the Nash County Department of Social Services. Tracy is a member of the Nashville Business and Professional Women’s Group, NC Association of Municipal Clerks, International Association of Municipal Clerks and is currently working on her Master Clerk Certification at the University of North Carolina School of Government.

Town Clerk
Tracy has many years of public service in various roles; she brings a love for the area and the desire to move the Town Hall forward by engaging Town residents and business owners. Since becoming the Town Clerk, Tracy has created a Town of Red Oak Facebook page that highlights residents and businesses and keeps the area informed of local news and events.
Currently Tracy is in the process of assisting in the development of a Town website that will enable residents, business owners and interested parties from out of state to have access to the Town Hall staff, Town Council, Planning Board and the zoning and ordinance regulations for the area.

Tracy is married to Bryan Keith Shearin, she has one daughter. Tracy loves to smile and make people feel welcome and she is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Council and her neighbors as Town Clerk.
